Ravello

Ravello is a charming town where you can see the beautiful nature of the Amalfi Coast, known for weddings, beautiful walks, parks and Ravello Festival. Antica Porta Residence is situated at 30 meters from the main square of Ravello where weddings are celebrated. Ravello is one of the most visited place of the Amalfi Coast. In the center of the town there is Antica Porta Ravello residence – holiday house that comprising a number of well-kept apartments. Ravello is an important historic and cultural location which has provided inspiration for authors, poets and composers such as Richard Wagner, Boccaccio and D.H. Lawrence. Wagner’s Tours of the Amalfi Coast led him to Ravello which provided the inspiration for his opera ‘Parsifal’. In honour of Wagner, Italy’s oldest music festival is held in Ravello each year. This small and tranquil village, offered peace and discretion as actress Greta Garbo said. From Ravello you can easly reach the other Amalfi Coast towns: Amalfi, Positano, ,Praiano, Conca, Sorrento, Punta Campanella, Capri, Ischia.

Amalfi is 6km away, Positano 14km, Sorrento 30km, Salerno 25km, Pompei 40km and Naples 60km. The nearest airport is at Naples (Capodichino). The nearest railway station is in Salerno.
